Proposals can be submitted by:[/size][/color] [ul] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Startups founded within the last five years.[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Research projects and not yet established as company.[/size][/color][/li] [/ul] [color=#000000][size=2]Eligible applications should explain the use of AI in their provision of a solution for public services and public bodies, and could fall into [/size][/color][color=#42a6c6][size=2]one or more of the following areas of innovation:[/size][/color] [ol] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Environment: Energy, Waste, Water, Circular Economy[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Smart cities: Transportation, Urban Planning, Housing, Telecommunications[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Society: Leisure, Culture, Education[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Security: Health, Safety[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Public Management: E-Taxation, E-Governance[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]AI and Data Spaces: Digital Transformation[/size][/color][/li] [/ol] [color=#000000][size=2]Applications should be submitted directly by applicants at the website dedicated to the application, by filling out the registration form and sending the documents indicated (CV of the entire team, presentation of the project).[/size][/color] [color=#000000][size=2]The deadline to apply is set for March 6th, 2023, at noon (12hPM CEST).[/size][/color] [color=#42a6c6][size=2]Evaluation[/size][/color] [color=#000000][size=2]The evaluation of the projects and the definition of the ranking of the competition winners will be entrusted to the experts appointed by the steering committee. [/size][/color] [color=#000000][size=2]Based on the documents attached to the application, the selection of the winning projects and the subsequent proclamation take place based on the unquestionable evaluation of the Jury that, downstream of each presentation, will assign scores since the following criteria:[/size][/color] [ol] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Degree of innovation[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Technological feasibility[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Economic sustainability[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Composition and quality of the team[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Scalability and replicability of the business[/size][/color][/li] [li][color=#000000][size=2]Impact on public services in the EU[/size][/color][/li] [/ol] [color=#000000][size=2]The evaluation committee will assign each of the above criteria a grade from 1 to 5.
